There has been so much rain the past few days but also a lot of warm intermittent sun. Such a combination has made for a massive growth spurt in the garden. Lots of flowers emerging, beautiful blossom on the plum trees but also a heck of a lot of weeds. They seem to appear in armies overnight. It is some task trying to keep them under control but on a plus it has been good exercise.

Last weekend was one of my best friends hen parties. It was a fantastic day and I am just so excited for the bride to be and her wedding next weekend. The first part of the hen took place in Little Botanica in Glasgow where we made flower crowns which was great. I was in my element. Everyone’s crowns were stunning and so unique.
This week I also started a new project. I bought a massive vintage Georgian dolls house off gumtree. It was completely plain and is in need of a good bit of TLC. I have started painting it and I’m super excited about what I am going to do with it. I have a plan in my mind of how I am going to proceed with it but I will keep it under wraps until it is finished just in case it doesn’t work out as I imagine!
Love the flower crown idea. I might have a go at hosting a flower crown workshop for charity. It seems to capture the moment. Looks so pretty
