Eucalyptus, felting, rhubarb and a long cycle

I’m just having a little break inside from the sun as my skin is scorched and thats with sun tan lotion! It’s so great to have the sunshine and warmth though. It makes everyone so much happier. Lets face it, nothing beats light nights and bbqs.

The garden has been producing so much rhubarb. I keep cutting it down and the next thing I know its back again!

Of course along with the arrival of the warmer weather comes the annual hayfever/summer cold. Blocked up noses are annoying but not the worst thing in the world. But last week I cut fresh eucalyptus from the garden and steamed my face daily for 3 days and I can breathe normally again!

I tried felting for the first time a couple of weeks ago which was quite fun but I stabbed myself about 100 times. My poor fingers. I have to say I really enjoyed it though, it is quite relaxing and therapeutic.

Another activity I have been getting back into is cycling which I have been really enjoying. This morning I left at 6am and cycled along the old railway line to cults. It was a beautiful morning. Last week I went a bit further and got to Peterculter. It is great physio for my leg.
