Mindfulness, flower power, an apron and a tiny trapped bird

March and now the beginning of April has been very focused on my practice of mindfulness. I have been attending amazing mindfulness sessions at the Credo centre under the guidance of a Nepalese born Buddhist monk, Venerable Sujan.

I have found it a really worthwhile discipline and am now regularly practicing meditation on a daily basis.

We have beautiful sunny weather again! I have gone flower crazy and have planted lots and lots of bulbs among the crocus and daffodils. I also started growing giant sunflowers, sweet peas and red poppies in my propagator.

I am very bad at garden planning as I don’t have the patience for it. I just plant and see what works. I am always surprised with what starts growing as I often forget what I have planted.

I also made a little gardening pinafore out of some curtain scraps and rescued a tiny little bird from the green house…
