A cat, a teapot and natural remedies

It has been soooooo long since I last wrote a blog post but hey, I’m back now!

Last week was a busy week of trying new things which was great. The freedom my prosthetic leg gives me is just fantastic. Last week I was at the gym most days, I have joined a yoga class,  I have started playing badminton (and played against the head coach of the paralympic team), I have started a 6 week mindfulness course and have joined an inclusive gymnastics class. Busy, busy!

This week though I crashed and burned. Tired and sore throat and generally just feeling a bit run down. However….I now have a beautiful three legged rescue cat called Winona. She is literally the most affection cat I have ever come across.  I just love her.

Due to the sore throat I have been drinking lots of hot drinks to soothe it. My friend gave this cute little teapot…

Lastly I bought a book from Oxfam all about natural remedies that I have been enjoying. It’s so interesting and practical.
