Grapes I have discovered are sadly not very adaptable. I have lots of grapes in my greenhouse this year but I wasn’t sure what to do with them. Once I pick them I know they will last approx 2-3 days. I will definitely fresh eat some of them and I played with the idea of preserving the rest as grape jelly, then I realised I don’t have any more jars. I turned to google but even it wasn’t much help in coming up with any feesible options. I have thought of obvious wine making but firstly I don’t have any of the equipment and although google assures me its inexpensive I don’t think I have the patience for it!

My greenhouse with grape vine
I think what I’ve concluded is that I will do what my mum used to do when I was little (actually come to think of it she actually probably still does it), I’m going to freeze them and eat them straight out the freezer. They are really refreshing and tasty frozen, like little juicy balls of sorbet. They are also really good in their frozen state with cheese or just as a random healthy snack. If anyone has any other ideas though please share them with me in the comments box below.
Whatever I end up doing with them I sure it will all work out vine!! 😉
